ARISTOCHATONS ASSOCIATION, SEARCH, ADMINISTRATIVE CLOSURE AND JUSTICE IN PROGRESS
Like all feline shelters in France, the Les Aristochatons Association in Draguignan in the Var had the role of dedicating itself in various nearby communities to improving the health status of stray cats, to fighting against the proliferation of cats through sterilization, to occasionally assist cat owners and to offer feline adoptions to the general public via a feline shelter.
And yet, the past facts and discoveries concerning the Aristochatons Association are overwhelming and criminal since after having undergone a raid by the national police of Draguignan and the competent authorities, dozens of cats were discovered within the so-called dead feline shelter or in the process of being euthanized (several euthanasias had to be carried out after the veterinarian's advice) since all the cats were locked up, crowded together and deprived of any hygiene and food and lived with thousands of worms in an unimaginable stench.
What horror for all these poor stray cats who ended their sad lives for weeks and months suffering the worst animal abuse only to slowly die in appalling conditions. This same Association had been mandated by several municipalities in the Var near Draguignan such as the municipality of La Motte 83920 which had recently charged the Aristochatons Association with taking care of the village's stray cats and unfortunately, we understand better why dozens of stray cats and a few cats domesticated by people in La Motte suddenly disappeared. Several people who feed the village's stray cats witness their regular disappearances.
No one was observed on site how this criminal association functioned or did the municipalities turn a blind eye to their actions, so many questions and answers to be had!
Fortunately, legal action was taken after the spontaneous search by the police and the administrative closure and a judicial investigation is underway by the Draguignan Court. Hoping for the greatest firmness and punishment for those responsible for the Aristocatons Association, the legal case will be followed soon.
